My guess is they were closed when the previous owner had retired. The franchise has a new local running this location. Been open for more than a 3 or 4 weeks now. Regular business hours.
Not to my knowledge.
The only good menu items are the crab rangoon and the curries. Gave this place a second chance after a bad first experience and won't be returning again.Way too much rice in the rolls, and the rice was warm. Also didn't really taste like much. There was still skin on some of the salmon.
Extensive menu, great service
Good food, good pieces, good service.
Huge menu to choose from, with a unique approach to ordering. Delicious food and fantastic service!
I do not say this lightly, this was the worst restaurant I have ever had the displeasure of dining at. Sushi tasted of sour fish and extremely dry rice, I've had far superior marked 50% off from the grocery store counter. Every person that I went with immediately felt I'll. Also, we were still charged for not finishing the sour fish. First time I've ever sent back food in my life.
Super fast service without compromising taste or texture. Friendly staff and ordering off the iPad is easy. Wish some menu items had descriptions as well as the yummy pictures.
Fast service. Great food
Chicken pho, vegetable pho and green curry are always spot on.
Great food great services
Delicious food. Taste the same everytime. Service is always good. I would have rated it 5 stars but it looks like they are down sizing the portion and size of some items with the all you can eat menu.
Amazing food! Always fresh fish
Stopped driving thru north bay. Soup was cold. Food was mediocre at best and just before leaving i saw a mouse run across the floor. I would definitely say eat somewhere else.
Great food, good service but not inexpensive
This is a great sushi restaurant. They have an all you can eat buffet which I have always used and you can order items a la carte as well. I believe they deliver as well but again I have never used them for this. This restaurant was the first in North Bay to use an IPAD to make your order selection and it still works great. The restaurant has items from different cuisines (Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Thai as well as Vietnamese). There are a number of appetizers and there is a good selection of sushi. What keeps bringing me back again and again are their soups. They have a lot of soup options which are no longer offered at other restaurants (Lemongrass Soup for example - I am looking at you JT Sushi). The place is clean and there is a big plaza with a lot of parking spaces. The staff are friendly and helpful. When You are craving Asian food in North Bay, it's a great place to go.
Good all you can eat Asian cuisine. Large selection of Japanese, Chinese, Thai, and Korean foods. There is also an a la carte menu for those not wanting the all you can eat style.
Like how the menu is made to order so it's cooked when you want it. iPad ordering is pretty cool as well, nice to see pictures iof what your ordering. Good selection as well.
Loved it! Don't get here often enough, but highly recommended. The staff was wonderful, very welcoming and warm. Great service, nice ambiance, excellent food. Yummy nom noms!
Not bad for North Bay area. Shame that they are unable to deliver true Asian tastes due to the lack of taste knowledge from the customer base. Over all our meal was good and we would return. Staff were very friendly and welcoming
This is the one of THE best restaurants I've ever been too. The staff is so friendly and the food is super delicious! I highly recommend it for local sushi fans!
Fast and friendly service, with too much variety. Not good quality food. Many dishes were warm, instead of hot.
Love this place! My all-you-can-eat strategy: eat as much as I can before I realize I'm full. Most places make this difficult because you have to wait for someone to come take your order and you can never find them when you need them. Here, you order as often as you want on the iPads and the food comes FAST. Great variety: I get full before I run out of things I'd like to try. Definitely recommend! Try the Basil Noodle and Crab Rangoon.
Probably the best all-you-can-eat place I've been. Huge restaurant with tons of seating with a huge variety of food. Very peaceful atmosphere with classical music and water sounds. They give you iPads to order off of which is really cool and efficient, there are pictures of every single item and the order is immediately sent to the kitchen. Food came out quickly and was still hot and/or fresh. Everything tasted great, and it's actually a few bucks cheaper than the average AYCE place.
It was cool, I likes the iPad system
Good prices for the fresh sushi. Didn't love the Thai options, but my wife did. Will definitely return for the sushi. Only negative thing was it felt like the waitresses were shoving us out the door after a little bit.
Service was amazing.. The food today didnt hit home for us. Always enjoy coming to this place. We will see if redemption is in cards next time.
I was not impressed with the all you can eat lunch. I found the food to be terrible and lower quality. They have an order on an iPad system as you go. The red curry chicken was pretty good but the sesame chicken was dark meat with a strong oil flavour. I had another Korean dish that I could not finish. I also had tempura shrimp which seemed very mushy. So if you don’t finish something you don’t like here they make you pay for it! I won’t be back. there are many better options in the area.
Love this place. Greatest sushi in town!!
Friendly staff easy to use menus
By far one of the best all you can eat sushi. We travel almost an hour to come here
Great dining area, and attentive serving staff. More rice on the sushi rolls than I'd prefer, but I understand their strategy
Fair price. Food is quite good. Friendly waitresses
Food was good although slow... Very pricey.
You order small dishes from an ipad. They bring them to your table.Large selection of options.Vegan menu. The tempura veggies were good. Everything else was absolutely terrible. Possibly the worst food I have ever eaten in a restaurant. One order of sushi ( strawberry rolls ) smelled so bad we asked the server to take it away. The two main flavours seemed to be " bland and mushy" or "sick and sour".The price for 4 on a Thursday without alcohol was $129. I feel completely ripped off.I turned down a discount card to be used on my next visit. Dear god, why would anyone return? Maybe if your tastebuds and smell receptors were damaged in an industrial accident, and you recieved a huge payout as a result. It is the only time I have left an all you can eat still hungry, but totally off of food.Do not eat here.
The best place in town for Asian cuisine. They offer a wide variety of food to choose from, always fresh and made to order. The wait staff is friendly and knowledgeable, and the prices are more than reasonable.
Amazing food, very friendly staff
Best sushi in town. Always good food and service. The business hours are not great, it would be better if they were open past 9pm at least on the weekend.
Good food and was pretty quick. Don't try to take your leftovers with you $13 charge for food that would go to waste. Make sure you get the right amount.
Fantastic. Food is all ordered on an iPad, and the food is cooked to order. Nothing sitting under heat lamps or on heaters. Staff is very patient, friendly and reliable. I have nothing bad to say about Aroy Dee.
Great food, great prices, and friendly staff. Orders are filled fast and so there is no need to place one big order, just select your items from the iPad menu as you want them. Worked well
Great food, fast and friendly waitresses, tons of different Asian foods but pricey
The service is always good and the variety of food options are plentiful
The only reason it would ever be more than one star was because the waitress was very friendly and understanding. It couldn't make up for it though. That being said, I had to send back some sushi (the rice with salmon on top) cause it was not only warm but very slimy. I don't know how you can serve something like that. There was this sauce on top that looked like Frank's red hot. As if to cover up the disaster. The regular rolls were mostly rice. No flavour at all really. I'm not usually harsh on a place unless it's really bad. I wish I could say differently.
Not great by any means. Not use to ordering off a Tablet for meals. Very confusing what to order. Small amounts of food.
Always enjoy the food here. This was the first place I went to that had tablet ordering and I have loved this method ever since. For some reason it has never been busy when I went, so I hope it stays open.
Alright, I really like this place, the food was awesome (sushi, chinese, vietnamese, thai, vegan, believe me, there’s no way you can try it all in one sitting, there’s THAT much food served here!)It was all cooked from scratch, really great food, all the way into the dessert too!Service is awesome, staff is great and polite.Ordering is done through either a paper menu (with more verbose descriptions of the food) or an iPad with a good interface and plenty of pictures.Bathrooms are impeccably clean. If you’re in North Bay ON, looking for somewhere to stop for a meal, this is it. I come here as a traveller and I would honestly eat here again anytime. Enjoy your meal!
This place really is great as far as an all you can eat goes.
The food is good but make sure you eat everything because you will be charged per left over item.
Had the lunch special Beef Pho. My mom had the Sesame chicken. Both were very good. Service was fantastic. Only reason not 5 stars is due to the beef being tough. However, everything was very good. Would definitely go again.
The food is always excellent here. The staff are very friendly and courteous, and always accommodate any special requests. It's my daughter's favorite restaurant for good reason. We highly recommend giving this place a try!
Our family typically enjoys going out for sushi. This is one of our favorite places as we get to order on the ipad system. I enjoy the variety of different foods available. We always order fried rice for the youngest as it is one of her favorite dishes. The older children enjoy the vegetable tempura and dumplings. I always enjoy the rolls and soups.
